Tennis has been a recurring theme throughout my life - as fan, recreational player, coach and writer.
I had the good fortune of growing up in the 1970's and 80's, the last Golden Era of the sport, a time when tennis actually generated significant interest among all sports fans here in the United States.
I currently contribute to Tennis Week magazine among several other publications and coach the men's tennis team at Sarah Lawrence College.
